Joya is a brand, factory, design agency, artist studio and destination all in one.

Joya believes in hard work and teamwork. We collaborate, create and stimulate the local economy by infusing ancient art forms with modern ingredients and technology.

Joya believes in equal opportunity and supporting and caring for one another, focusing on providing moments of beauty and serenity for our customers.

Health and safety are hallmarks of the operation. Our studio and products are all compliant with the latest regulatory standards.

Joya is independent, opting for control and transparency with respect to our offerings, approach and company culture.

Bases, waxes, wicks and secondary packaging are all Made in the USA. Porcelain slip from Upstate New York is cast and recycled and re-cast in-house. Glass is, in part, recycled, and always recyclable. All of our containers are reusable or collectible.

Joya uses the entire perfumer’s palette: Fragrances blend essential oils, absolutes, resins, concretes and aromas that synthesize molecules found in nature. The essence of living flowers, plants and herbs is captured at their most vivid. All are free of phthalates, parabens, and silicone. They are IFRA-compliant and never tested on animals.

Joya’s signature style is a contemporary interpretation of classic constructions, favoring woody, musky, aromatic, green, a touch of fougère. Our scents are not assigned to gender. They are meant to be shared and to be personal—adapting to your specific chemistry.

Joya is known for developing olfactive identities with and for artists and brands, large and small, with a story to tell.

Joya’s name was born out of its first, crystalline wax base: A tropical palm oil developed in partnership with the World Wildlife Foundation and The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.

Joya honors the beauty above by focusing on what is near—what has been under our noses all the time, what may be next and what could never be.
